These compressed coco coir bricks (5kg coco peat blocks) are manufactured at our own Tamil Nadu facility and shipped directly to Canadian, US, and Mexican growers from our Canadian warehouse — no brokers, no aged stock, just consistent coir from factory to grower.

Three things matter most when you're buying coco coir at volume: consistency, documentation, and price. Here's how we deliver on all three.
Triple-washed and calcium-buffered at source, then lab-tested before shipping. Review the applicable batch documentation for the ordered product — essential for cannabis LPs and commercial greenhouse nutrient programs.
Each block is pre-buffered with calcium nitrate before shipping, displacing sodium from cation exchange sites. Your plants get a clean, stable substrate from the first irrigation.
We own the production units in Tamil Nadu. You pay factory price plus freight — not factory price plus three layers of distributor margin. The saving on pallet volumes is significant.

Rehydrating our 5kg coco coir block takes about 20 minutes. One block produces 70–75 litres of ready-to-use growing medium.
Use a tub or wheelbarrow of at least 80L capacity. A clean wheelbarrow works well for pallet-volume hydration at commercial scale.
Pour slowly over the block. Warm water speeds expansion. For pre-buffered coir, plain water is sufficient — no extra Cal-Mag needed.
The block absorbs water and expands to 70–75L. Outer layers expand first, so allow the full soak time for even hydration throughout.
Break apart any remaining chunks by hand or with a fork, then check runoff EC and pH before first use. Ready for planting or blending.

Triple-washed, buffered substrate can be reviewed within an LP's own quality and compliance program. Consistent EC and pH support nutrient program reliability, and available documentation can be reviewed within the buyer's own quality system.
High-volume, palletised supply from our Canadian warehouse, with custom texture blends for tomato, pepper, and cucumber production. Reliable dispatch keeps your growing season on schedule.
An ideal substrate base for DWC, NFT, and coco-based systems, blended with perlite at 70/30 or 80/20 ratios. Fine-grade texture is available for precision setups needing maximum root aeration.
Confirm the product specification, applicable batch test results and preparation requirements before ordering. Testing scope and any certification needed for your operation must be confirmed; do not assume sterile or pathogen-free status.
One 5kg block gives you 75 litres of peat-free growing media — ideal for raised beds, container gardens, and indoor growing. Minimum order depends on product, packaging and destination, so you start with as few blocks as you need.

The most common questions from Canadian, US, and Mexican growers about our 5kg coco coir blocks. Don't see yours? Ask us directly.
Avee Cocoseller's 5kg coco coir block is factory-direct compressed coco coir manufactured at our Tamil Nadu facilities. Confirm the washed or buffered format, current batch documentation and availability at our Canadian warehouse, where it ships to growers across Canada, the USA, and — as our distribution network expands — Mexico.
Most coco coir blocks sold in Canada pass through two or three distributor hands before reaching you. Each step adds cost and time, and aged stock loses pith integrity — you get a dustier, higher-EC medium that underperforms in hydroponic systems. Because we manufacture ourselves, our blocks arrive with intact pith structure, consistent EC, and a live batch lab report. For more on coco coir substrate quality standards, see how coco coir compares to other growing media.
Peat moss is increasingly regulated in Canada due to wetland conservation concerns. Coco coir, by contrast, is a 100% renewable byproduct of coconut processing — no wetlands and no depletion involved. It also outperforms peat in re-wettability and structural longevity, which is why coco coir is now the primary substrate of choice for greenhouse and hydroponic operations across Canada and the USA.
Our compressed coco peat blocks suit every growing format, from single-plant containers to commercial greenhouse rows. The 5kg size is the most popular format in Canada and the USA, balancing ease of handling with volume efficiency. One pallet of 220 blocks gives a commercial operation over 16,000 litres of buffered growing medium. Batch documentation is available on request.
We ship from our Canadian warehouse to all ten Canadian provinces, with our fastest freight lanes serving Ontario's Leamington greenhouse corridor, the Niagara Region, and the Greater Toronto Area. We also reach BC's Fraser Valley, Alberta's indoor farms, and Quebec's horticulture operations. For the USA, supply is available across the contiguous United States, coordinated by destination and order volume. Mexico shipping is expanding as we build out cross-border logistics services — contact us to coordinate logistics and confirm availability.
