Our 5kg coco coir block is manufactured at our own Tamil Nadu facility. Furthermore, it ships directly to Canadian and US growers from our Cambridge, Ontario warehouse. Every block is triple-washed to EC below 0.5 mS/cm, calcium-buffered, and lab-tested. As a result, there are no brokers and no aged stock — just clean, consistent coir from factory to grower.

Every batch is triple-washed and calcium-buffered at source, then lab-tested before shipping. As a result, EC stays consistent batch to batch — which is essential for cannabis LPs and commercial greenhouse nutrient programs.
Each block is pre-buffered with calcium nitrate before shipping. Consequently, sodium is displaced from cation exchange sites. Your plants receive a clean, stable substrate from the first irrigation — so no extra Cal-Mag soak is needed.
The 5:1 compression ratio maximises freight efficiency. Furthermore, one block expands to 75L of ready-to-use media. Therefore, one pallet of 220 blocks yields over 16,000 litres of buffered, lab-tested growing medium.
The optimal pH range for nutrient availability is maintained consistently in both hydroponic and soil-based systems. Moreover, it stays consistent batch to batch — so your feeding program works as designed every time without adjustment.
There is no customs waiting and no container delays from our Cambridge warehouse. It ships to every Canadian province and US state. Furthermore, commercial pallet orders typically dispatch within 2–3 business days from the order date.
We own the production units in Tamil Nadu. As a result, when you order, you pay factory price plus freight — not factory price plus three layers of distributor margin. The saving on pallet volumes is significant and passed directly to you.

Rehydrating our 5kg coco coir block takes about 20 minutes. One block produces 70–75 litres of ready-to-use growing medium.
Put the block in a tub or wheelbarrow of at least 80L capacity. A clean wheelbarrow works well for pallet-volume hydration at commercial scale.
Pour water slowly over the block. Warm water speeds expansion. For pre-buffered coir, plain water is sufficient — no extra Cal-Mag is needed at this stage.
The block absorbs water and expands to 70–75L. Outer layers expand first. Therefore, allow the full soak time to ensure even hydration throughout the entire block.
Break apart any remaining chunks with a fork or by hand. Then check EC and pH of your runoff before first use. It is ready for direct planting or blending with amendments.

Triple-washed, buffered substrate meets LP compliance requirements. Consistent EC and pH batch to batch ensures nutrient program reliability. Furthermore, lab documentation is available on request for Health Canada compliance.
High-volume, palletised supply is available from our Ontario warehouse. Custom texture blends are offered for tomato, pepper, and cucumber production systems. Moreover, same-week dispatch keeps your growing season on schedule.
This is an ideal substrate base for DWC, NFT, and coco-based systems. It blends with perlite at 70/30 or 80/20 ratios. In addition, fine-grade texture is available for precision setups requiring maximum root aeration.
Sterile, pathogen-free starting media works well for seed germination and cutting propagation. It is heat-treated at source — consequently, there are no weed seeds and no contamination risk to worry about.
One 5kg block gives you 75 litres of peat-free growing media. It is perfect for raised beds, container gardens, and indoor growing. Furthermore, there is no minimum order — so you can start with as few blocks as you need.
Triple-washed, low EC, pathogen-free coir is ideal for bulk substrate and casing layers in mushroom production. It is heat-treated at source — as a result, contamination risk is significantly reduced for gourmet mushroom growers.

Avee Cocoseller's 5kg coco coir block is Canada's best-value factory-direct compressed coco coir. We manufacture at our own facility in Tamil Nadu, India — one of the world's highest-quality coconut-producing regions. Furthermore, every block is triple-washed, calcium-buffered, and lab-tested before it reaches our Cambridge, Ontario warehouse, where it ships to growers across Canada and the USA within days.
Most coco coir blocks sold in Canada pass through two or three distributor hands before reaching you. Each step adds cost and time. In addition, aged stock loses pith integrity — you get a dustier, higher-EC medium that underperforms in hydroponic systems. Because we manufacture ourselves, our blocks arrive with intact pith structure, consistent EC, and a live batch lab report. For more on coco coir substrate quality standards, see this overview of coir properties from ScienceDirect.
Peat moss is increasingly regulated in Canada due to wetland conservation concerns. In contrast, coco coir is a 100% renewable byproduct of coconut processing — no wetlands and no depletion involved. It also outperforms peat in re-wettability and structural longevity. As a result, coco coir is now the primary substrate of choice for Canadian greenhouse and hydroponic operations.
Our compressed coco peat blocks are suited to every growing format — from single-plant containers to commercial greenhouse rows. The 5kg size is the most popular format in Canada and the USA. Furthermore, it balances ease of handling with volume efficiency. One pallet of 220 blocks gives a commercial operation over 16,000 litres of buffered, lab-tested growing medium.
We ship from our Ontario warehouse to all ten Canadian provinces. Our fastest freight lanes serve Ontario's Leamington greenhouse corridor, Niagara Region, and Greater Toronto Area. We also reach BC's Fraser Valley, Alberta's indoor farms, and Quebec's horticulture operations. Moreover, for the USA, we ship to all 50 states. Contact us for freight rates.
