5 kg compressed blocks
A practical pallet format for nurseries, soil blenders and growers who hydrate and mix substrate on site. Each block expands to approximately 70–75 litres under normal preparation conditions.
Avee supplies commercial coco coir blocks, grow bags, husk chips and propagation formats to growers, nurseries, hydroponic businesses, garden retailers, growing-media blenders and distributors across Toronto, Peel, York, Durham, Halton and Hamilton. Orders are qualified by application, specification, volume and delivery postal code.
Indoor farms, greenhouse operations, nurseries and hydroponic retailers use coco differently. The right format depends on container volume, irrigation frequency, crop duration and the air-to-water balance required by the root zone. Avee helps commercial buyers select a format instead of treating all compressed coir as interchangeable.

Pre-filled formats for greenhouse vegetables, berries and controlled-environment rows. Dimensions, drainage configuration and pith-to-chip blend are confirmed during quotation.
Coarser material for buyers who need greater aeration, drainage and structural stability. Available as chips or as a pith-and-chip formulation suited to the crop.
For repeatable production, commercial buyers should confirm EC test method, pH range, compression ratio, particle distribution and buffering requirements before ordering. Avee’s standard 5 kg blocks are triple-washed, run at pH 5.5–6.5 and test below 0.5 mS/cm EC using our stated method. Calcium-buffered and application-specific blends are available subject to product and production confirmation.
GTA and Golden Horseshoe orders are fulfilled from Avee’s Cambridge, Ontario warehouse when the requested product is in Canadian inventory. Custom grow bags, slabs and formulations follow the production and freight schedule confirmed in the quotation. Larger commercial orders may also be quoted through direct container supply from Avee’s manufacturing operations in India.
Tell us the substrate format, approximate pallet or container volume, and your destination postal code. If the order is for a greenhouse crop, also include crop type, container or slab dimensions and your preferred pith-to-chip ratio.
